Murfreesboro starts Fall leaf collection on October 12

By Local Murfreesboro news desk

Murfreesboro residents can get free leaf collection from October 12 through January 31 by placing loose leaves near the street.

Residents should place leaves within five to 10 feet of the street and not in the street to avoid traffic hazards.

Leaves can be loosely piled but should not cover storm sewers, and residents can also use biodegradable paper bags for collection.
